1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MapMyHub ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should immediately discontinue use of our directory and services.

MapMyHub provides an informational index of US Federal campgrounds, dispersed camping zones, and public land facilities. These terms apply to all site visitors, automated scripts, and comparative data consumers.

2. Data Accuracy & Reservation Bookings

MapMyHub indexes data sourced from public databases, including the Recreation Information Database (RIDB), United States Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and National Park Service (NPS). While we strive for continuous accuracy, public land conditions change rapidly due to weather, seasonal closures, and fire restrictions.

No Direct Booking

MapMyHub does not collect payment or handle campsite reservations directly. All bookings are finalized on official platforms such as Recreation.gov.

User Verification

Campers are responsible for verifying local fire orders, road access limits, and permit rules directly with local district ranger offices prior to travel.

Third-Party Links

Outbound links to federal booking engines or partner websites operate under their own independent terms of service and privacy policies.

Dispersed Camping

Dispersed camping boundaries are provided for reference only. Users must respect private property boundaries and posted physical signage.

3. Permitted Use & Platform Guidelines

You agree to use MapMyHub solely for lawful outdoor planning and research purposes. When utilizing our interface, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to disrupt platform service, strain database servers, or launch denial-of-service attacks against directory infrastructure.
  • Scrape or extract dataset structures in a manner that violates RIDB API terms or degrades website availability for other outdoor enthusiasts.
  • Misrepresent affiliation with MapMyHub, the US Forest Service, National Park Service, or Recreation.gov.

4. Limitation of Liability

MapMyHub and its operators shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your reliance on campground listings, dispersed camping overlays, navigation coordinates, or third-party reservation systems.

Outdoor recreation on public lands carries inherent risks. Users assume all responsibility for personal safety, vehicle recovery, gear preparation, and adherence to environmental regulations.
